Standards of performance

Section 35
(1)
The Minister may by regulations prescribed such standards of performance in connection with the provision of railway services and facilities as, in his opinion, ought to be achieved by a licensed operator.
(2)
Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations made under subsection (1) may –
(a)
make provisions for procedures to be followed for the enforcement of the standards of performance; and
(b)
provide circumstances in which a licensed operator may be exempted from the requirement of the regulations.
