Section 42
(1)
Where an employee has reached the maximum of the salary scale of his grade, the Disciplinary Authority may impose upon an employee the punishment of reduction of salary for such period as it may think fit:
Provided that the punishment shall not be more than three increments in the salary segment in which he is at the time when this punishment is imposed.
(2)
The consequences of this punishment shall have the same effect as in rule 40.
