Section 2

In any law passed by the Legislature of the State of Sabah prior to the commencement of this Enactment, or in any Ordinance to the extent that is, by virtue of the provisions of the

Constitution of Malaysia, treated as a State law, references to the word “Jesselton” shall be construed as references to the words “Kota Kinabalu”.
