Section 183
(1)
Any prosecution before the Syariah High Court shall be conducted by the Chief
Syar'ie Prosecutor or a Syar'ie Prosecutor.
(2)
Prosecution before the Syariah Subordinate Court may be conducted by –
(a)
the Chief Syar'ie Prosecutor or a Syar'ie Prosecutor;
(b)
a Religious Enforcement Officer authorized in writing by the Chief Syar'ie
Prosecutor to act on his behalf; or
(c)
a complainant as permitted by the Court.
