(2)
Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Syariah High Court may call for and examine the records of any proceedings before a Syariah
Subordinate Court for the purpose of satisfying itself as to the correctness, legality or propriety of any finding, sentence or order recorded or passed and as to any regularity of any proceedings of such Court; and the Syariah Appeal Court shall likewise have such revisionary jurisdiction in respect of any proceedings or matter before a Syariah High Court.
