No person who has been arrested by a Religious Enforcement

of Syariah Criminal Procedure (Federal Territories) Act 1997

Section 23

Officer or police officer under this Act shall be released except on bond or bail or under the order in writing of a Judge or Chief

Religious Enforcement Officer or of a police officer not below the rank of Inspector.
