Interpretation.
In this Enactment, unless the context otherwise requires
“timber licence” means any grant, licence agreement, contract, licence or permit relating to the felling, collecting or removal of timber, made or issued under the Forest Enactment, l968, which contains special provisions relating to payment of royalty in respect of such timber.
Application of royalty rates.
Notwithstanding the provisions of any timber licence, the rates of royalty prescribed from time to time by rules made under the Forest Enactment, 1968 [2/68.] shall apply to timber dealt with under such timber licence as they apply to other licences and permits, and where any such rules conflict as to amount, date of application or otherwise with any such provision the rules shall prevail.
