Short title.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Transfer of Powers Ordinance.
Powers of Governor in Council.
Where in any provision of the written law set out in the Schedule any rights, duties and powers are conferred upon the Governor, such rights, duties and powers shall be exercised by the Governor in Council and such written law shall be amended accordingly.
The Governor in Council may by order add any provision to the Schedule and from the date of the publication of any such order in the Gazette the rights duties and powers conferred upon the Governor by any provision so added shall be exercised by the
Governor in Council and such written law shall be amended accordingly.

(The changes involved in the laws included in this Schedule up to 30th June, 1953, the date fixed by the Governor under section 3 of the Revised Edition of the Laws
Ordinance, have been embodied in the respective laws in this Revised Edition of the
Laws.)
