Section 19

The Enactments specified in the Schedule are hereby repealed:

Provided that (without prejudice to section 77 of the Interpretation

Acts 1948 and 1967 [Act 388] where immediately before the commencement of this section a person was imprisoned or detained in pursuance of any provision of those Enactments or of any order made thereunder, the said repeal shall not affect the operation of any such provision in relation to his continued imprisonment or detention.
