Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Kumpulan Wang
Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Pindaan) 2025.
Akta ini mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta.
s 2Pindaan seksyen 2
Akta Kumpulan Wang Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman 1966
[Akta 389], yang disebut “Akta ibu” dalam Akta ini, dipinda dalam seksyen 2 dengan menggantikan takrif “Minister” dengan takrif yang berikut:
‘ “Minister” means the Minister charged with the responsibility for the Tunku Abdul Rahman Foundation Fund.’.

s 3Pindaan seksyen 5
Seksyen 5 Akta ibu dipinda—
dalam subseksyen (1)—
dalam perenggan (a), dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “Yang di-Pertuan Agong”
perkataan “, on the advice of the Minister”;
dalam perenggan (b), dengan menggantikan perkataan “Ministry of Higher Education”
dengan perkataan “Ministry charged with the responsibility for the Fund”; dan
dalam perenggan (d), dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “Minister” perkataan
“after consultation with the Chairman”;
dengan memasukkan selepas subseksyen (1) subseksyen yang berikut:
“(1a) The Chairman and members of the Board under paragraph (1)(d) shall be from amongst persons of standing, achievement and experience in the charity or human capital development field or from amongst professionals who possess relevant experience in educational, financial or commercial matters.”;
dalam subseksyen (2), dengan menggantikan perkataan
“three years” dengan perkataan “four years”; dan
dengan menggantikan subseksyen (3) dengan subseksyen yang berikut:
“(3) The Chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Board and in his absence from any meeting, such other member of the Board as may be elected by the members of the Board who are present shall preside as Chairman and have all the powers of the Chairman.”.

s 4Seksyen baharu 7a
Akta ibu dipinda dalam Bahagian IV, dengan memasukkan sebelum seksyen 8 seksyen yang berikut:
“Objects of the Fund 7a. The objects for which monies of the Fund may be applied are as follows:
to perpetuate the good name, legacy and aspirations of Yang Teramat Mulia Tunku Abdul Rahman
Putra Al-Haj;
to uplift and empower individuals from underprivileged backgrounds to access and pursue higher education;
to strengthen Malaysia’s human capital in order to serve and contribute to the development and the progress of the nation; and
to promote national unity and to spread the principles of the Rukun Negara.”.

Seksyen 8 Akta ibu dipinda—
dalam nota bahu, dengan memotong perkataan “and object of the Fund”;
dalam subseksyen (2)—
dalam perenggan (a), dengan memotong perkataan “and” di hujung perenggan itu;
dalam perenggan (b), dengan menggantikan noktah dengan perkataan “; and”; dan

dengan memasukkan selepas perenggan (b)
perenggan yang berikut:
“(c) to provide any other form of assistance or equipment for any programmes or schemes as the Board may determine from time to time on condition that such assistance or equipment for the programmes or schemes shall achieve the objects of the Fund as provided under section 7a.”; dan
dalam subseksyen (3)—
dengan menggantikan perkataan “Paragraph (2)(a)”
dengan perkataan “Paragraphs (2)(a) and (c)”;
dan
dengan menggantikan perkataan “or any other award or financial assistance” dengan perkataan
“, any other award or financial assistance or any other form of assistance or equipment for any programmes or schemes”.

Seksyen 9 Akta ibu dipinda—
dalam nota bahu, dengan memotong perkataan “study”;
dan
dengan menggantikan subseksyen (1) dengan subseksyen yang berikut:
“(1) Every recipient of a studentship, scholarship, study grant, study loan, any other award or financial assistance or any other form of assistance or equipment for any programmes or schemes, as the case may be, provided or awarded under this Act, shall become and during his tenure thereof shall remain—
a student at the place of education approved by the Board and shall pursue his studies at such place of education to the satisfaction of the Board; and

a participant in any programmes or schemes as approved by the Board and shall comply with the terms and conditions imposed by the Board.”.
s 7Pindaan seksyen 11
Seksyen 11 Akta ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “his studies” perkataan “or his participation in any programmes or schemes”.
s 8Pindaan seksyen 13
Subseksyen 13(2) Akta ibu dipinda dengan menggantikan perkataan “10 per centum” dengan perkataan “twenty per centum”.
s 9Kecualian
Anggota Lembaga yang dilantik sebelum tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini hendaklah terus memegang jawatan sehingga dipecat daripada jawatan atau sehingga tempoh pelantikannya tamat.
