Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 6 Akta Pendaftaran Negara 1959 [Akta 78], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Peraturan-Peraturan Pendaftaran Negara 1990 [P.U. (A) 472/1990] dipinda dalam peraturan 5—

(c)
(ii) dengan tanda noktah;
(c)
dengan memasukkan selepas subperaturan (3) subperaturan yang berikut:
“(3A)
Walau apa pun subperaturan (3), dalam hal seseorang yang didaftarkan di bawah Akta Pencegahan Jenayah 1959 [Akta 297],
Ketua Pengarah, selain boleh menyebabkan supaya dimasukkan ke dalam kad pengenalan itu suatu kod atau maklumat yang sesuai, kad pengenalan yang dikeluarkan kepada orang itu hendaklah dalam warna coklat.”.

NATIONAL REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2014
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the National Registration Act 1959 [Act 78], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the National Registration
(Amendment) Regulations 2014.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 15 June 2014.
Amendment of regulation 5 2.
The National Registration Regulations 1990 [P.U. (A) 472/1990] are amended in regulation 5—
(a)
by substituting for the words “; and” at the end of subparagraph (3)(c)(ii)
a full stop;
(c)
by inserting after subregulation (3) the following subregulation:
“(3A) Notwithstanding subregulation (3), in the case of a person registered under the Prevention of Crime Act 1959 [Act 297], the
Director General, other than to cause to be included in the identity card an appropriate code or information, the identity card issued to him shall be in brown.”.
