Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 12 Akta Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya 1957 [Akta 31], Yang di-Pertuan Agong membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Seksyen 1

(1)

Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamakan Peraturan-Peraturan

Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (Pindaan Jadual) 2002.

(2)

Peraturan-Peraturan ini hendaklah disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Januari 2002.

Pindaan Jadual

Seksyen 2

Jadual kepada Akta Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya 1957 dipinda dalam perenggan 1—

(a)

dengan menggantikan angka “7,106” dengan angka “7,816.60”;

(b)

dengan menggantikan angka “5,335” dengan angka “5,868.50”; dan

(c)

dengan menggantikan angka “4,444” dengan angka “4,888.40”.

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Election Commission Act 1957 [Act 31], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement

Seksyen 1

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Election Commission

(Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 2002.

(2)

These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2002.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The Schedule to the Election Commission Act 1957 is amended in paragraph 1—

(a)

by substituting for the figure “7,106” the figure “7,816.60”;

(b)

by substituting for the figure “5,335” the figure “5,868.50”; and

(c)

by substituting for the figure “4,444” the figure “4,888.40”.
