  1. MENURUT peruntukan-peruntukan seksyen 127 (2) Akta Cukai Pendapatan 1967, Dewan Rakyat dalam mesyuaratnya pada 22hb Jun 1979, telah menetapkan bahawa Bahagian I Jadual 6 kepada Akta Cukai Pendapatan 1967 dipinda dengan menambah butiran baru yang berikut—

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 127 (2) of the Income Tax Act 1967, the Dewan Rakyat at its sitting on 22nd June 1979, resolved that the Part I of Schedule 6 to the Income Tax Act 1967 be amended by adding thereto the following new item- "25B. Sums received by way of gratuity paid out of public funds on termination of a contract of employment (less the employer's contribution to the Employees Provident Fund, if any, and interest thereon)." and that the amendment shall be deemed to have effect for the year of assessment 1977 and subsequent years of assessment.
