Seksyen 10 Akta ibu dipinda—
of Akta Pendaftaran Jurutera (Pindaan) 2015
(a)
dalam perenggan (1)(b), dengan menggantikan perkataan
“prescribed” dengan perkataan “determined”;
(b)
dalam subseksyen (2)—
(i)
dengan menggantikan perenggan (i) dengan perenggan yang berikut:
“(a) any person—
(i)
who is registered as a Graduate
Engineer and has obtained the practical experience under paragraph (1)(b);
(ii)
who—
(A)
has passed a professional assessment examination conducted by the
Board;
(B)
holds a professional qualification which the Board considers to be equivalent to the professional a s s e s s m e n t e x a m i n a t i o n conducted by the Board; or
(C)
is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers
(Malaysia); and
(iii)
who has complied with the requirements as determined by the Board;”; dan

dalam subseksyen (3), dengan menggantikan perkataan
“2(iv)” dengan perkataan “2(d)”; dan

dengan menggantikan subseksyen (4) dengan subseksyen yang berikut:
“(4) No person shall be entitled to be registered as a Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate unless he is at the time of application for or renewal of registration, and has been for a period of not less than six months prior to the date of application or renewal, residing in Malaysia.”.
