Section 31
—
(1)
A Probate Officer may summon any executor or administrator, or any person who has intermeddled with the estate or any assets thereof, or who has any knowledge of any matter relating thereto, to appear before him and answer any question relating to the estate that may be put to him.
(2)
Failure to appear and answer without good cause shall render the person summoned liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months.
