Provided that—
No advocate shall in any calendar year be entitled to practise in Sarawak unless and until he has received from the
Registrar a certificate to practise in respect of that year upon payment of the fee, if any, prescribed:
(a)
upon the admission of any person as an advocate, the
Registrar shall grant him free of charge a certificate to practise up to and including the 31st day of December next following the date of his admission.
