Nothing contained in this Act shall in any manner affect, or.

derogate from, the provisions of the Exchange Control Act 1953, and in the application of any provision of this Act to any person, such provision shall apply subject to the provisions of that Act and, accordingly, in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of this Act and that Act, the provisions of that Act shall prevail.
