Unless otherwise agreed between the originator and the addressee, an electronic message is deemed sent from the originator’s place of dealing, and—
(a)
where the originator has more than one place of dealings, from the place of dealing that has the closest relationship with the dealing or where there is no place of dealing that has the closest relationship with the dealing, from the originator’s principal place of dealing; or

(b)
where the originator does not have a place of dealing, from the originator’s ordinary place of residence.
