6B. Authorized officer

The Authority may authorize any of its members or officers to perform any of its functions, exercise any of its powers or discharge any of its duties under this Act.
Authority
―Authority‖ means the Labuan Financial Services Authority established under section 3 of the Labuan Financial Services Authority Act 1996;
Subject to such limitations, if any, as may be prescribed, an authorized officer shall perform all the functions, exercise all the powers and discharge all the duties of the Authority and every function so performed, power so exercised and duty so discharged shall be deemed to have been duly performed, exercised and discharged for the purpose of this Act.

―prescribed‖, where no mode is mentioned, means prescribed from time to time by order published in the Gazette, and a power to prescribe includes the power to make different provisions in the order for different persons or different classes, categories or descriptions of persons;
