14. New section 65a

The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 65

the following section:

“Public servant 65a.  Every Protection Officer, while discharging their duty as such Protection Officer under this Act shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code

[Act 574].”.
