Section 30
(1)
Any person who, being a person held in custody pursuant to a direction under subsection 29(2), escapes from such custody commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
(2)
Any authorized officer may, without warrant, arrest a person if the authorized officer has reasonable grounds to believe that the person is a person referred to in subsection (1).
(3)
A person who has been arrested under this section shall be returned to custody in accordance with this Act.
