General penalty
If any person without lawful authority or excuse (proof whereof shall be on him) contravenes any of the provisions of this Act or of any regulations made thereunder for which no other penalty is provided, or does or omits to do anything which under such provisions he ought not to do or omit to do, he shall be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding one year or to both.
