Preamble
- An Act to validate the collection of fees in respect of any service rendered for the certification of foreign workers’ skills by the National Agriculture Training Council during the period from 25 January 2006 to 8 March 2007. [1 May 2009] ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: Short title
Section 2
Validation and indemnity
(1)
Notwithstanding the provisions of the Fees Act 1951 [Act 209], the fees which were charged and collected by the National
Agriculture Training Council in respect of any service rendered for the certification of foreign workers’ skills during the period from 25 January 2006 to 8 March 2007, being the day before the date of the coming into operation of the Fees (Services For
Certification of Foreign Worker’s Skills) (National Agriculture
Training Council) Order 2007 [P.U. (A) 99/2007], shall be deemed to have been validly charged and collected.

No action or legal proceeding shall be brought, instituted or maintained against the Government of Malaysia or any officer of the Government of Malaysia or any person acting under them or any of them in respect of any fees which were charged and collected during the period referred to in subsection (1), and if such action or legal proceeding has been brought, instituted or maintained, it shall be discharged and made void and no refund in respect of the fees charged and collected as stated in this Act shall be made.
