Section 43 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
by substituting for subsection (1) the following subsection:
“(1) An authorized officer may investigate the commission of any offence under this Act.”;
(b)
in subsection (2), by substituting for the words “a franchisor, franchise broker or franchisee” the words “any person”; and
(c)
in subsection (3), by substituting for the words
“[Act 594]” the words “[Act 593]”.
