Prevailing law

Section 3
(1)
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Act and those of any other written law, the provisions of this Act shall prevail and the conflicting or inconsistent provisions of such other written law shall, to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency, be deemed to be superceded.
(2)
The provisions of any written law that is not in conflict or is consistent with the provisions of this Act shall otherwise continue to apply.

In this section, the expression “written law” shall not include the Federal Constitution and the Constitutions of the
States.
