Section 19
(1)
No person who receives a DNA profile for entry in the
DNA Databank or who has access to information contained in the
DNA Databank shall, except in accordance with sections 11 and 22, use or communicate such DNA profile or any information in relation thereto to be used or communicated other than for the purpose of this Act.

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to both.
