Section 148
(1)
An authorized officer may investigate the activities of a licensee or other persons material to his compliance with this Act or its subsidiary legislation.
(2)
In any case relating to the commission of an offence under this Act or its subsidiary legislation, any authorized officer carrying out an investigation may exercise all or any of the powers in relation to police investigation, except the power to arrest without warrant, given by the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
