Appointment of Deputy Director General

Section 16
(1)
The Institute may appoint such number of Deputy Directors
General from among the officers appointed under section 17 to assist the Director General in the exercise of his powers and the performance of his duties under this Act.
(2)
If for any reason the Director General is unable to exercise his powers and to perform his duties, the Institute may appoint one of the Deputy Directors General to exercise the powers and to perform the duties of the Director General.
