Section 59 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
by substituting for the words “before the departure of such aircraft, present to the proper officer of customs at the customs office” the words “not less than two hours before the departure of such aircraft or such period as the Director General may determine, whichever is lesser, present to the proper officer of customs”; and
(b)
by substituting for the words “substantially in the prescribed form, certified by such pilot or agent, together with a duplicate copy thereof,” the words “in the prescribed form and certified by such pilot or agent,”.
