Section 10

of *PRIVATE HEALTHCARE FACILITIES AND SERVICES ACT 1998

Section 10

The Director General may refuse to proceed with an application for approval to establish or maintain a private healthcare facility or service other than a private medical clinic or a private dental clinic, or may require that the application be appropriately amended or completed and resubmitted or that a fresh application be submitted in its place if—

(a)

the application form as prescribed is not duly completed by reason of any omission or misdescription;

(b)

the application form contains an error or alteration;

(c)

the application does not comply with any other prescribed requirement; or

(d)

the applicant has not shown proof that he is a suitable person to be granted approval to establish or maintain a private healthcare facility or service.
