Notice of intended opening of a railway

Section 24
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), a railway company shall, at least one month before the intended date of opening of a railway, give to the Director General notice in writing of its intention to open the railway.
(2)
The Director General may, if he thinks it fit or on the application of a railway company, reduce the period of or dispense with the notice mentioned in subsection (1).
