Section 32
(1)
The Director General may, with the approval of the
Minister, by regulations, prescribe such standards of performance in connection with the provision of railway services and facilities as, in his opinion, ought to be achieved by a railway company.
(2)
Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations made under that subsection may—
(a)
make provisions for procedures to be followed for the enforcement of the standards prescribed; and
(b)
prescribe circumstances in which a railway company may be exempted from the requirements of the regulations.
