Amendment of section 2
The Stamp Act 1949, which is referred to as the
“principal Act” in this Chapter, is amended in section 2—
(a)
by substituting for the full stop at the end of the definition of “stock” a semi colon; and
(b)
by inserting after the definition of “stock” the following definition:
‘ “writing” or “written” includes any handwriting, typewriting, printing, electronic record or transmission which is in an electronically readable form.”.
