Offences and penalties relating to certification
of National Skills Development Act 2006
(1)
Any person who, or any institution or skills training provider which issues or awards any person, or is in possession of, any false certificate contrary to the provisions of this Act commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not less than twenty thousand ringgit but not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not less than one year but not exceeding three years or to both.
(2)
Any skills training provider other than accredited centres which issues or awards any certification claimed to be complying with the Standards commits an offence under this Act and shall,

on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
