7. New Part IVa

The principal Act is amended by inserting after the new section 21a the following part:

“Part IVa

ENFORCEMENT

Power of investigation 21b.  An authorized officer shall have all the powers necessary to carry out an investigation under this Act in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].

Power to require information 21c.  An authorized officer may require any person to furnish any information relating to the prevention and control of infectious diseases.”.
