Section 10 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
in subsection (1), in the national language text, by deleting the words “atau rakaman Al-Qur’an” and “atau rakaman”;
and
(b)
in subsection (2), by substituting for the words
“two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment not exceeding six months” the words “fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years”.
