Section 34 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
in paragraph (a)—
(i)
by inserting after the word “death” the words “or presumed death”; and
(ii)
by substituting for the words “qualified informant”
the words “qualified person under section 7 or 19 or a person under section 24a”; and
(b)
by substituting for the words “of five hundred ringgit”
the words “not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both”.
