13. Amendment of section 56

Section 56 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)

by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:

“(2a)  A vocational licence issued under this Part shall be valid for the period specified in the vocational licence unless it is sooner revoked under subsection (4)

or (4a).”;

(b)

in paragraph (4)(a), by inserting after the words “any disease” the words “, conduct as may be prescribed”;

and

(c)

by inserting after subsection (4) the following subsection:

“(4a)  Without prejudice to subsection (4), a vocational licence issued under this Part shall—

(a)

be suspended if the driving licence issued under section 27 is suspended under section 32, 35 or 36;

(b)

be revoked if the driving licence issued under section 27 is revoked under section 35.”.
