Section 16
(1)
An authorized person may in his discretion compound any such offence against this Act as may be prescribed as an offence which may be compounded by the authorized person by collecting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed the same a sum of money not exceeding five hundred ringgit.
(2)
The Minister may by regulations made under section 3 prescribe the offences which may be compounded and the method and procedure therefor.
