Power of the Commissioner to inspect any treasure trove

Section 80

(1)

The Commissioner or any officer authorized by him in writing for that purpose may at all reasonable times inspect any treasure trove in the possession of any person.

(2)

It shall be the duty of every such person to permit such inspection and to give to the Commissioner or such officer all reasonable facilities to study such treasure trove and to make drawings, photographs, prints, squeezes or reproductions by the making of casts or by any other means.

(3)

No such drawings, photographs, prints, squeezes or reproductions under subsection (2) shall be sold without the consent of the person in possession of the treasure trove.
