Functions of Council

Section 9

(1)

The functions of the Council shall be—

(a)

to advice the Minister and the Commissioner on all matters relating to heritage, and the due administration and enforcement of laws relating to heritage; and

(b)

to advice the Minister and the Commissioner on any matter referred to it by the Minister or the Commissioner.

(2)

The Minister and the Commissioner shall not be bound to act upon the advice of the Council.
