Section 51

The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 56

the following section:

“Forfeiture order not to be affected by acquittal 56a. The fact that a person has been acquitted of a serious offence or a foreign serious offence shall not affect the power of the court to issue a forfeiture order.”.
