Section 60 of the principal Act is amended—

Section 54
(a)
in subsection (1)—
(i)
by inserting before the word “release” the words
“with the consent of the Public Prosecutor”;
(ii)
by substituting for the words “as he” the words
“as the Public Prosecutor”; and
(iii)
by substituting for the words “if he” the words “if the Public Prosecutor”; and
(b)
by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(3) For the purpose of subsection (1), the Public
Prosecutor may give any direction of an ancillary or consequential nature, or which may be necessary, for giving effect to, or for the carrying out of, such release of property.”.
