Section 13
(1)

Section 12 shall not apply to any claims to which section 513

of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 [Ord. No. 70 of 1952], or the corresponding provisions of any other law apply and those provisions shall have effect as if this Act had not been passed.

(2)

The provisions mentioned in subsection (1) shall not apply to any case where the acts or omissions giving rise to the claim occurred before the coming into force of this Act.
