Section 62
Search without warrant
If information is given to any police officer, not below the rank of Inspector that there is reasonable cause for suspecting that any stolen property is concealed or lodged in any place and he has good grounds for believing that by reason of the delay in obtaining a search warrant the property is likely to be removed, that officer by virtue of his office may search in the place specified for specific property alleged to have been stolen.
(2)
A list of the property alleged to have been stolen shall be delivered or taken down in writing with a declaration stating that such property has been stolen and that the informant has good grounds for believing that the property is deposited in that place.
(3)
The person from whom the property was stolen or his representative shall accompany the officer in the search.
