Section 79
(1)
If any person ordered to give security under section 66, 66A or 74 does not give the security on or before the date on which the period for which the security is to be given commences he shall be committed to prison, or if he is already in prison be detained in prison, until the expiration of such term as the Court may direct or until within that term he gives the security to the Court which made the order requiring it or to the officer in charge of the prison in which he is detained:
Provided that the term, if any, for which any person is imprisoned for failure to give security shall not exceed the period for which security is ordered to be given.
