Section 2

Wherever in any written law, minute, deed, contract, official letter or other document whatsoever any of the titles mentioned in the First Column of the Schedule hereto occurs in relation to any public officer, office or department and it is necessary to give effect to such title such document shall be read and construed as if the title mentioned opposite it in the

Second Column of the Schedule were substituted therefor.
