Section 123
(1)
The Minister may, on the recommendation of the Bank, make such regulations as are necessary or expedient to give full effect to or for carrying out the provisions of this Act.
(2)
Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations may be made—
(a)
to provide that any act or omission in contravention of any provision of such regulations shall be an offence; and
(b)
to provide for the imposition of penalties for such offences with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or a fine not exceeding ten million ringgit or to both.
