58. Payment of additional amount
Feedback & supportWhere authority for withdrawal under paragraph 54(1)(a) is granted, the Board has a discretion to pay an additional amount as set out in the Fifth Schedule subject to any terms and conditions prescribed by the Board.

“Board” means the Employees Provident Fund Board established under section 3;

Where authority for withdrawal under paragraph 54(1)(c) has been granted, the Board has a discretion to pay an additional amount as set out in the Sixth Schedule subject to any terms and conditions prescribed by the Board.

“additional amount” means the amount which may be paid under section 58;
A member of the Fund shall not be paid the additional amount under subsection (2) on any subsequent withdrawal under paragraph 54(1)(c).

“member of the Fund” means a person who has an account and credit with the Fund;
