Section 96A

(1)

A dependant shall not be allowed to receive, for the same period in respect of the same insured person, survivors’ pension and dependants’ benefit.

(2)

Where a dependant is entitled to both survivors’ pension and dependants’ benefit, he may choose to receive the benefit which is payable at the higher rate.
